SLICE OF LIFE

Ok, so we all can see from my previous postings that I love to slip a family pet into any mural I do... but, this Bride and Groom wanted their yellow lab with them at the reception. No, there was not a tragic story to tell of him gobbling up the wedding cake... because he was the cake!

BIG KID DREAMS

This toddler's Mom wanted nature as the underlying theme of the room. With a silhouette like this, who wouldn't fall asleep with thoughts of warm summer evenings and adventures with the family's jack russell terrior.

FROG PRINCE OR PRINCESS?

This room had whimsy written all over it. With harlequin walls in a neutral tone, this family could bring home a boy or girl and add accents of pink or blue as needed. The frog prince and his able apprentice will be anxiously awaiting the new arrival.

WED IN THE WEST

This laid back couple wanted to share one of their favorite spots in the Texas with their closest friends and family. The one and only H.E. Sproul Ranch. Those who made the long haul out to Ft. Davis, Texas enjoyed a weekend of wild west wedding events. Skeet shooting, hiking and jeep treks to name a few. The ceremony was held outside around the ranch pool. We floated simple arrangements in the water and decorated a rustic arbor to frame the couple with roses, hydrangea, rustic greens, hanging crystals, and deer sheds. The dance floor was defined with hanging lanterns and the oversized mantel was dripping in candlelight. Guests dined on steak and potatoes in the West Texas sunset and embraced the casual, yet romantic, rustic western theme.

MOD MARRIAGE

This couple has a flare for the funky! The eclectic flare of the venue added to the unique event. A hidden courtyard hosted the cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres and prickly pear margaritas. Dinner was served in a large room with old rock walls and beautiful high ceilings. Desserts, drinks and dancing followed in the fabulous and funky wallpapered rooms next door.The floral was fun and fresh, with tea tins used as the vases. The cake table was a sweet soiree. Brownies backed up the cakes. Three flavors of cupcakes supplemented the sweets and rice krispie treats tempted the guests. Their wedding was a huge hit and turned into a positively posh party! HITCHED IN THE HAMPTONS

This fantastically chic bride wanted a wedding dripping in sunset hues. We incorporated this theme into the floral, escort card display, ceremony pomanders (kissing balls), paper parasols, and even into the eco-friendly confetti that guests tossed as the couple came down the isle. MAD ABOUT MONKEYS

This Mom wanted a sleek and sophisticated room for her little monkey. Simple and sweet.

FLOWER POWER

This designer Mom wanted a lovely large floral print to accent her crib wall.

FAIRY UNIQUE

This lucky toddler had her initials in gold. All thanks to a sugarplum fairy's artsy touch.

MODERN METALLIC

This chic Mom wanted a graphic element on the accent wall to highlite the crib. Metallic paint was used to add some depth.

CUTE CABANA

Mom wanted a more streamlined alternative to painted drapes to frame the crib. A sweet striped cabana did just the trick.

SKY LAB

Every little boy loves his puppy! This Mom wanted the family pooch in the cockpit as it soared over the crib.
